VI. Interrogative sentences

 

Interrogative sentences are formed by using ma吗 or méi yǒu没有 at the end of the sentence.

 

A:      Nǐ zuòwán zuòyè le ma?  or:      Nǐ zuòwán zuòyè le méiyǒu?  

你做完作业了吗？                  你做完作业了没有？

          Have you finished doing your homework?

Positive answer

 

B:      Zuòwán le.  

做完了。

          Yes, I have.

Negative answer

 

B:      Méi zuòwán.  

没做完。

          I haven’t.
